Sorting By Fields after search results
I know this has probably been asked a trillion times before.... But,,, Why isthere no way to search by fields after search results? If I list Benny Goodman hits, then select stardust. +It will list ALL ARTIST that did Stardust, However if I look at the year column the years listed are out of order. If I want to look at Stardust by Chronilogical order (Year) I cant... It doesn't work... It takes me to a lisitng of every song in the universe up to today... This is pretty not helpful... I would be glad to provide the database queries for you so this can be a feature for all fields within each search...
Please let me know how I may be of service. +Thanks
The web site is designed to follow the most typical searches paths that users want. For those who wish for a more sophisticated way to look at the data we provide all the entries in the CSV file. You can do exactly what you want in Excel, or alternately create a custom app to do exactly what you want.
If you create a custom app we'd be happy to see it.

#5 - Tommy Dorsey & #8 - w/Sinatra
The following (3) Chart Entries should be removed from this 1936 recording (#5) and transferred to the 1940 version with Frank Sinatra #8). 1. US 1940's 7 - 1 week. 2. RYM 42 of 1940. 3. Song of 1940.
All the 1940 entries have been moved to both, thanks

Re: Author of Stardust
"Star Dust" (allegedly the official title) or "Stardust" was composed in 1927 by Hoagy Carmichael with lyrics added in 1929 by Mitchell Parish. I like theversion by Nat King Cole. +His voice here is magnificent, and it captures the essence of the song perfectly.
