You say you appreciate corrections and respond to cj well until the final line, where you get all pathetic. If you find any slips in my mail , Uh, keep it to yourself
Richard
We could not resist the irony of a person who claims that a job should only be attempted if it is going to be done right and at the same time makes 6 obvious mistakes in 57 words.
We see that you are connecting from the same IP address as CJ, say hello from us.

Neil Diamond
Sir
Not a bad little round up of info but spoilt a little by inacurate info. Neil Diamond did not pen Daydream believer , but he did pen a song called Im a Believer, September Morn was cetified 2 millon sales in 2001 , Onlly small points but if youre going to do it do it right CJ
On your first point you are correct, there was some confusion between "Daydream Believer" (The Monkees' second most successful, song written by John Stewart of the Kinston Trio) and "I'm a Believer" (The Monkees' biggest hit written by Neil Diamond). The hand edited additional text has been corrected.
Assuming that you are talking about US certifications, the RIAA only list two entries for the album "September Morn" a Gold in Mar 1980 and a Platinum in May 1980. This is from searching today on http://www.riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php . Wikipedia also has the same entry of "Platinum" for the album that our chart has rather than the "2 x Platinum" you suggest. We cannot see any source for your assertion that the album was ever "cetified 2 millon sales in 2001".
There are plenty of mistakes in this data, inevitable when consolidating more than 300,000 entries from over 100 sources and, while neither of these cases are actual errors in the data, we always appreciate people taking the time to send us corrections. Thank you.
Finally the word "only" is traditionally spelt with just one 'L', only a small point but if you're going to do it do it right...
