I am wondering what happens with collaborations for example with E.T by KatyPerry & Kanye West how would it contribute to their placement among the biggest artists of the decade would they split the points for the song or would “Katy Perry & Kanye West” count as a seperate music artist if it’s the later then I guess that artists with many collaborations will not place very high.

I agree with your verdict that the Glee cast are probably ranked far too high.I hope that you will eventually get to a reasonably accurate list.

Artist Ranking for the 2010s+

Just curious what would the ranking look like if we were to use the datacurrently available on this website regardless of its accuracy?+

The current list for the 2010s would be (in order): Glee Cast, Drake, Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, One Direction, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Pink, Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, Eminem, Coldplay, The Weeknd, Beyonce, Mumford & Sons, Maroon 5

I would suspect that the Glee Cast are too high and Ed Sheeran is too low.

Artist Ranking for the 2010s+

When will you start showing the ranking of each artist for this decade likeyou have for the other ones? Thanks+

The stats for 2000-2009 were trustable after about 2013. So we won't be hurrying to do the artists for 2010-2019 for a little while yet. Meanwhile you could look at the the MusicID revenue site site, that already has some data files that let you calculate the decade's top artists.

It starts: 1: Ed Sheeran 2: Drake 3: Adele 4: Bruno Mars 5: Taylor Swift 6: Imagine Dragons 7: Eminem 8: Kendrick Lamar 9: Post Malone 10: Ariana Grande 11: Justin Bieber 12: The Weeknd 13: Twenty One Pilots 14: Sam Smith 15: Rihanna
