Album artist 49 - Nirvana
This page lists the album chart runs of Nirvana. A list of songs by Nirvana can be found
here.
The albums are listed with the most widely successful first.
An American rock band that was formed in 1987.
The band consisted of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic
and a succession of drummers, the longest lasting being Dave Grohl.
Despite the fact that the band ceased to exist in 1994 (with the death of
Cobain) it continues to have a major influence.
There was also a British band (formed in 1965) called by
exactly the same name. The song Pentecost Hotel was, of
course by this Nirvana rather than the more famous one.
