Songs of the forties

In the 1940s many songs were hits for more than one artist, this table lists eight songs that were hits for four artists. The year each song was a hit is shown in the table. For example Jo Stafford had a hit with Goodnight, Irene in 1950. Artist "A" also had a hit with the same song in 1950 but artists "B" and "C" didn't.
